The original text was rewritten and recombined into multiple possibilities of form and content. The variations of this text were then recited – from memory – in a semi-improvisational way over a four hour performance that took place at Galleri SLAKT in Bergen. Focusing on the meditative pace and rhythmic intonation of the original poem, various alternative possibilities for the poetic narrative were imagined and explored, creating a generative palimpsest of poetic experience that was shared with the audience. Here, the text from the performance is transcribed, allowing the poem to further mutate and shift from the realm of the voice back onto the space of the page."

A paragraph from a poem is repeated over and over with the words shifting and transforming, creating hundreds of variations, these variations are printed recto and timestamps referring to the performance they were taken from are printed verso, with an introduction by Andrew McMillan who composed the original text.

Soft cover, 19 x 13 cm, 500 not numbered pages, ed/240, Bergen 2021

ISBN: 978-82-691968-3-2

“666 pages of performance scripts, research material on black metal, glossolalia, speech production and philosophy of language that has been translated into a specially commissioned illegible typeface.
