Don’t think the “Swiss” in the title reduces the horizon of this book to local importance. Quite a few of the very many voices the book gives space to those that aren’t Swiss and in their entirety they compose the much facetted image of what can be observed art has grown, if not overnight, then during the last, say, 60 years. To evoke this variety of descriptions of that new branch S.B. asked librarians, publishers, retailers (yes, also me for Boekie Woekie), designers, art historians, curators but not artists or other than professional readers.
