When I Am King

A silent comic story initially published online, it’s inspired by the adventures of the artist’s great-grandfather Demian II. Set in ancient times, the protagonist, a king, loses his pants to a camel and goes on a dramatic journey that involves humiliation, love and sex to find something to cover himself up so he won’t lose his dignity. The digital drawings are colourful and stopmotion-like so one can nearly see the movement between frames, hard cover, 21,5 x 14 cm, 128 pages
