“This book collects the activity Aðalheiður S. Eysteinsdóttir has organised in Alþýðuhúsið in Siglufjörður, from its opening on July 19th 2012 until the ten years anniversary festival in 2022. The book contains many submitted texts. Some are by individuals we personally asked to contribute and are listed as authors in the book index. Other submitted texts were in reaction to an open invitation to write a few words about the Alþýðuhús experience. Those texts are spread around the book, and always credited to the authors. A list of all who submitted their writing is on the first pages of the book alongside publishing information. The Reader is a collection of exhibition texts from Kompan exhibitions during these ten years. Everything else is written by Aðalheiður.”
