“Sleep Mode deals with chat message culture and post-traumatic stress in a two part text where various sleep states bring about slightly surreal scenarios. In these scenarios, messages and emojis act as keys to deeper experiences, exploring the physically of the tiny bubbles of words and the disembodied voices behind them. Fighting through layers of disassociatons, a sensation is felt in the distance - a message coming through.”
