“The Village of Proof is a fairy tale set in an extremely well-organised farming community where uncertainties are minimised at all costs and traditions are paramount. When little Zulma is born and starts to sow seeds of doubt with her unsure-making eyes, the villagers of Proof are not inclined to tolerate this.
A strict, traditionalist village that prides itself on its monotony turns against a girl who introduces uncertainty and doubt with her striking eyes and although she is punished she appears to get the last laugh; a beautifully made graphic novel, text by Weegbree, illustrations by Drawmama, edited by Chen Yun, designed by Anqi, translation by Tong Zhuoye, bilingual edition in English and Chinese.
