“In 2018, I wrote a series of principles on a piece of scrap paper. They speak of life, letting go, building, simplicity, risking the unforeseen and loving. In retrospect, the message is that human beings don't have freedom – freedom has human beings. Digitally printed on high-quality paper, polychromatic paintings I created with a monotype technique, together with the principles, record the richness of accident and the blissful intensity of the phenomenal world.
‘Dynasty’ is a laughable anachronism. Compared to abstract individualism, however, dynasties are kept alive in the intimacy of human relationships. 'Family' evokes the interdependence of all things – wholesome holism for times of social atomization.
