Facsimile of the 4 issues of Mécano, a Dutch periodical on Dada published between 1922-1923 in Leiden, consist of a loose embossed hardcover with two pockets, with one pocket containing nos 1-3 (3x poster format, 16,5 x 13 cm folded / 33 x 52 cm unfolded), and the other pocket containing no.4/5 (saddle-stitched, 25 x 16 cm, 16 not numbered pages) + the colophon (loose folded sheet, 25 x 16 cm, 4 not numbered pages).
With contributions by many famous artists such as Kurt Schwitters, Tristan Tzara, László Moholy-Nagy, Hans Arp, Raoul Hausmann, Max Ernst, Piet Mondrian, and Theo van Doesburg.
Text primarily in Dutch but with some French, English and German contributions, with an introduction to the facsimile by J.Leering in English, Vaduz 1979
