“PERIFAERYE consists of several parts: a coloured vinyl LP, a poster and a booklet with text and digital drawings by the artist. PERIFAERYE began as a public sound art project in Hamburg, in a north-western district called Eidelstedt on the edge of the city. The artist developed 18 soundscapes, graphics and writings, which, seen together for a kind of cartography. Each item (poster, music, billboards, website, record) could be looked at / listened to individually or as part of the whole. Besides an audio-visual internet version (including sound samples free to use), Jorn Ebner also connected the public space in Eidelstedt posting huge billboards with playlists that referred back to the website.”
