Clod Magazine is an independent Magazine since 1987. The magazine is “satirical, fictional, and famous for ‘half-joking’ (This also means it is famous for being ‘half-serious’”. It is filled with comedic articles and illustrated with playful collage and graphic design. The 20,000 word issue and the 30 year celebration issue with ‘North facing’ (why do so many people wear clothes with ‘North Face’ written on them?), ‘Just walking round like a disconsolate Facebooker all day’ and ‘How to moan’. With a loose poster for ‘The 1970s Were Here’ exhibition which formed part of a three year programme ‘As You Change, So Do I’ of public events in Luton, contributions by, among others, T.Fitzayré, J.Hackson, Elliot Smoke and Alan Vaughn.
