A smal flipbook, or 'Daumenkino', featuring snap shots taken while driving on the A10 ring road that lies around the city of Amsterdam, the pictures have been taken periodically on this circular drive while the sun is slowly setting; the A10 is further described in this publication as “de moderne gracht en de mentale stadsmuur” (“the modern canal and the mental city wall”), thus linking modern city planning with the city’s historical development.
