Contains reproduced materials from the press folder about Marcel Broodthaers’ fictitious Musée D'Art Moderne, Departement des Aigles (Museum of Modern Art, Department of Eagles), which began in the artist’s home in Brussels and travelled to Documenta 5 in Kassel in 1972, the museum, which housed among others many figurines or depictions of eagles, offered an alternative to existing models of curating and museum practices; included in this publication are: transcripts of two conversations between Broodthaers, Jürgen Harten and Katharina Schmidt, and Marcel Duchamp and Pierre Cabanne respectively; an excerpt from La révolution surréaliste by René Magritte; and selected texts on eagles, text in German, glossy soft cover, 29,5 x 21 cm, 60 not numbered pages, n.p. n.d.
