An artists’ book featuring the line drawings on the cover (a panther, an ostrich, a frog, and a falcon, oriented like the four cardinal directions on a compass) embedded in a habitat of layered crayon strokes, accompanied by their French names, printed in 4 colours on translucent pages, the animals are preceded by more crayon strokes in the shape of the 4 animals printed in black, the tops of the pages are uncut.
