“Locational is a chapbook series chronicling residency projects. Many of these residencies involve working on an installation or a single print and this series is a way to make these projects more widely available. The exact texts are the same and are combined with scaled-down renderings of the image and pattern elements, or newly-created pattern areas that reflect the texts. Each chapbook comes in the same format with a new cover colour for each edition.”
This issue features a visual poem-like text that explores “pertinent historical geographies of the city looking at the landscape before the city was established and personal memories of changes over recent decades”, developed from a residency at Tandem Felix Letterpress in Chicago.
