“this project is a collection of envelopes, containing visual letters that capture different ways we perceive the passing of time. it battles with the concept of time, how and whether it can be grasped, understood, captured, tamed.
the letters are addressed to the viewer and contain my reflections on time. the postcards framing the letters invite the viewer to reflect on the nature of time themselves. the purpose of this project is to invite people to reflect upon the way they are present (absent?) in their everyday life and to call them to be more conscious and reflective concerning their immediate surroundings.”
An interactive work inviting correspondence between the artist and the reader, consists of 5 colourful envelopes (14 x 11 cm) containing reflections on the nature of time and 2 postcards, all held together by a multicolour, wool-like string tied in a bow, n.p. 2024
